Job Description

Our client, a large telecom company in Dallas, is looking for a Social Media Manager for a long-term contract with the potential to convert to a permanent role. In this position, you will help to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of their social media presence across various platforms and requires someone with a strong understanding of social media strategy, content planning, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate has experience managing content calendars, creating compelling content, and working directly within social platforms to publish, monitor, and analyze performance. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and communications, to ensure alignment across all brand channels and to drive meaningful audience growth and engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals and brand identity
  • Manage and maintain a consistent content calendar across all social media platforms
  • Create engaging and on-brand content including copy, images, videos, and graphics
  • Publish, monitor, and engage with content directly within platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, and others
  • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize engagement, reach, and conversion
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to amplify campaigns and content
  • Monitor conversations, respond to comments/messages, and manage community engagement in a timely, brand-appropriate manner
  • Manage social media tools, reporting dashboards, and scheduling platforms
  • Support social media needs for events, product launches, and key company milestones
Required Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in social media management, strategy, and content creation
  • Proven track record of managing and growing social media accounts across multiple platforms
  • Strong understanding of social media KPIs, analytics tools, and reporting
  • Experience creating content tailored to each platform (copywriting, visuals, short-form video, etc.)
  • Proficiency with social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and brand consistency
  • Experience with basic graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.) is a plus
